Above Clockwise from top left:

Hand finished Dutch style frame with gilded sight edge.

Some memorabilia from an Ironman race. We used

our computerised mount cutter to design the multi opening

mount and decided on a black frame in order to allow the

bright colours to stand out.

Hand finished white frame with gesso.

Left: Something a bit different: These vintage golf balls range

from the first hand stitched leather ball through to the the

modern plastic coated ball. We used a regular moulding but

created a cabinet box to allow for the depth of the golf balls.

No adhesives were used in securing the golf balls, allowing

them to be removed at a future date if required.

A recent exhibition that we framed, as well as some sports memorabilia, and the offical St Andrews Open Print signed by all of the comptetitors

A portrait of the Principal of St. Andrews University framed in a beautiful gold leaf moulding.

Some Medals that we framed in April 2015. The medals were attached using a mechanical fixing so that they could be removed at a future date without damaging them - no adhesive was used. This reversibility is a big part of conservation framing.

A Scottish silver buckle, box framed with AR glass

We framed this interesting piece for a local geologist - it represents the geological structure of Scotland and is made of cuttings of rock from across the country. Each piece has been hand cut and polished. Due to the weight we had to design the frame to be very strong with a mechanical support at the bottom. As a finishing touch we used a high quality anti reflective glass.

We were asked to frame a TV for one of our customers! It was a 52" wall mounted flat screen and we framed it in a 3" wide ribbed pewter and extended the back of it so that it is flush to the wall. We were able to make the frame in our workshop and fit it at the house - so the TV remained on the wall for the duration. We designed the frame so that it can be removed easily should access to the cables be required.
